It’s April’s Fools Day, but the fact that spring is here is
no joke! Can you believe how fast this
year is going by? Does it seem like just
yesterday that you made that New Year’s resolution? How are those 2014 goals coming along? If you have regressed, you are not
alone! The good news is, there is still
hope. That’s right! You can make new goals all year long, so
consider using April as a month to nurture those goals for positive outcomes in
May.
There are two types of goals:
1. Short-Term Goals: What you would like to accomplish immediately
or in the near future.
2. Long-Term Goals:
What you would eventually like to accomplish in 5 years, 10 years, maybe
20 years.
If you find yourself losing motivation or drive to complete
your goals, you are likely lacking a well-defined long term goal. When you know what you want for your future,
it creates a vision of the bigger picture.
This vision provides a direction to more effectively set and accomplish
short term goals.
We will be providing tips, tools, and resources throughout
the month of April to help you “water your garden” for a blooming May. Before we get started, please take some time
to reflect on exactly what you want for your future. Consider what your goals are for different
areas of your life including relationships, careers, financial, health, and leisure
just to name a few. Once you have a
clear idea of your destination, we will be mapping out the route to get there
step by step.
Be sure to submit your email so that you can receive Pamper Your Mind blogs sent directly to your inbox. Now let’s spring ahead!
