Motivational Monday: Embracing the Real Truth

It is so easy for us to focus on all the negative things that we have experienced or are experiencing in our lives.  We can quickly point out how we will lose, how we are not good enough, or how we are unable to have, to do, or to be what we want. Most of the negative thoughts that we have about ourselves are false and irrational.    So today, I want to remind you that God has a plan for your life and His thoughts about you are good.  According to Jeremiah 29:11, His plan is for you to prosper, to have hope and a successful future.  As you continue on this journey of self-discovery, stop focusing on the negative, and begin to embrace God’s truth about you.  Seek His will and His plan for your life and I guarantee that you will find freedom in living authentically.

If you get a chance today (or whenever you start to become overcome by negative thoughts), listen to the song ‘I Am What You See’ by Bishop Paul S. Morton.  It reminds you to see yourself through God's eyes...Be Blessed!!!
